Our extensive experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning market has led us to broaden our range of solutions to also include several touchscreen user interfaces, a set of BLDC and AC inverters for refrigeration compressors and a website for monitoring remote units.
From analyzing the customer’s needs and defining the specifics, not only do we take care of design, but we also manage every aspect of the product’s development including development and validation of prototypes, serial production, technical documentation and customer manuals.
We assist and guide our customers, and in many cases, become their electronic department throughout the entire life cycle of the product.

Designing and developing purpose-built, custom controllers forms an integral part of the identity of Project Engineering, whilst the company’s years of experience in industrial electronics enables it to develop control boards with fast turnaround times and extremely competitive production costs.
We are able to ensure the quality of our product thanks to a certified quality system, meticulous design and validation stages, and thorough laboratory testing.
Another added value for the customer is being able to rely on the support of a group of expert technicians that are on hand to assist and are involved from as early as the prototype assembly stage, monitoring the product throughout its life cycle to ensure technical issues are resolved as quickly as possible and to adapt to the inevitably changing customer’s needs.
CUSTOM MODULAR CONTROLLERS
FLEX controllers feature a DIN-standard, compact case with a built-in bus. They come with a CPU module with high connectivity and a variable number of digital and analogue I/O modules.
The architecture is designed to easily and flexibly adapt the number of I/O to the type of application, reducing the number of connections.
If required, Project Engineering can customize the I/O modules and SW to optimise the cost and performance of the final solution.
THE UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FOR CHILLER CONTROL
It is a modular system composed by:
- Fully scalable Controller, based on Flex architecture
- FW for chiller control, flexible ad completely configurable
- HMI 7” or 10” (Opera products) with web based graphical interface
- Sequencer for management of up to 8 chillers and pumps groups;
To simplify the configuration of the chiller FW controller, it is provided a SW PC tool (PE_CNF) for a step by step procedure that generates, according to the selected configuration:
- A configuration file for chiller FW
- Ordering code list for Flex HW modules
- I/O mapping as a reference for the wiring diagram
ADVANCED USER INTERFACE
For the OPERA product, currently the 5” and 7″ WVGA, 10.4″ SVGA and 10.1″ options are available, with resistant and capacitive touchscreens.
They are designed in both a panel mount version with IP65-rated protection and an open frame version.

As a manufacturer of OEM products, Project Engineering can develop the drivers and hardware to manage any type of compressor and is also able to customize the mechanical engineering.
DATA ACQUISITION AND MONITORING CLOUD SYSTEM
This web-based approach allows access to all platforms (Windows or Mac, including Android and iOS mobile devices) without the need to install any specific software on the device (or app, in the case of mobile devices).
Initially designed to interact with our boards, Reach can also connect to any MODBUS device.
This innovative tool is primarily intended for industrial machine manufacturers. Application examples include remote control of chillers, heat pumps, dry coolers, close controls and wine presses.
Thanks to our partnership with Vodafone, we can provide global connectivity (in every country in which Vodafone operates directly or with roaming agreements) in the event an internet connection via cable is not available.
